Kacper Kalinowski is a contemporary Polish painter. His painting has characteristics of both the Italian Renaissance and magical realism. Although indirectly through them in how they are used, the subjects and style of the paintings make direct allusions to the workshop of the old masters.
Pale women and horses rule the world of Kalinowski. The background scenes are reminiscent of the classic Renaissance masterpieces. He also employs the past, but with fresh views, in keeping with current trends.
Kacper Kalinowski was born in 1983, in Poland, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
