Irene Gravender
paints images inspired by abstraction from nature.
Puddles after the rain, melted snow, autumnal mud in the forest, reflections in the water, snowstorms, sun shining through branches or reflected in a puddle are the themes for her pictures.
Rhythm, spontaneity and emotion are at the forefront of the artistic work.
The artist likes to work with watercolor, oil and ink in expressive gestures.
Spatulas, sticks, brushes and fingers are used.
The watercolors are created quickly and quickly on the wet ground, then the paint can be removed or deleted again by dabbing or wiping.
Irene Gravender learned the watercolor technique from her childhood in a Moscow art school.
The picture supports are made of canvas, wood and paper.
