Franz Marc was a German painter and printmaker who died on March 4, 1916. He was born on February 8, 1880, and died on March 4, 1916. He was one of the first people to join Der Blaue Reiter, a magazine whose name became a synonym for the group of artists who worked on it.
Between 1900 and 1903, he went to school at the Art Academy of Munich. Then he went to Paris and Brittany in France, where he met Macke and Kandinsky, who had an effect on his art. He began to use bright colors and an expressionist style.
He went back to Germany in 1914 and joined the army there. He died on March 4, 1916, in Verdun.
