Le dernier ouvrage que j’ai illustré vient de paraître aux Éditions Libra Diffusio et s’intitule « Petit manuel pour parler Sarthois« . Je me suis beaucoup amusée à dessiner pour ce manuel, en lien avec les deux auteurs qui sont à l’origine du projet, Serge Bertin et Pilou Souchères, un ouvrage dont la pédagogie est très axée sur l’humour, même si son contenu est exigeant. Dans ce petit manuel pour apprendre à parler sarthois, vous découvrirez :

Technic Drawing

Drawing is a technique of visual representation on a flat support. The term "drawing" designates both the action of drawing, the resulting graphic work, and the shape of any object. It is also a representation on a surface of the shape (and possibly the light and shadow values) of an object or figure, rather than their color. There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

Born in Paris on 9 April 1972, former student of the School of Graphic Design
Met Penninghen (Académie Julian) and the CFT Gobelins (specialization storyboard), I first worked as a graphic designer, then as a storyboarder in the design of animation for several years before exclusively devoting me to painting in 2004.

My practice of painting

Formed in a very academic school, where drawing was at the center of learning, I first placed the portrait as an exercise, a technical challenge. I executed many portraits in oil, mostly large sizes.

Gradually, I evolved towards more spontaneity and freedom. The work of deconstruction to a more intimate and stripped painting led me naturally to the discovery of abstract painting.
Part of my work reflects this transition between figuration and abstraction, transformation that took several years to occur.
Today my focus is exclusively on abstract painting. My goal is to reach out to paint the most intimate and as free as possible.

The gallery MAUBERT regularly exhibits my work (20 rue Saint Gilles 75003 in the "Marais" in Paris exhibition running until August 31, 2011).
