Usually, I go to great pains to explain what I was thinking in making a drawing ... but this is about kissing. If you have already kissed, a real romantic, drawn out, I don't ever want to stop doing this kind of a kiss ... you already know about it. If you haven't and you aren't just so young you don't know about it ... go find someone that is as attracted to you as you are to them and learn about it.
If for some reason you can't do this, you have my sympathy and the hope that this will help you to imagine it.
If you just think you can't ... I can pretty much guarantee that there are people out there that want to be kissed as much as you do and won't be put off by why you think you can't be kissable to someone else.
To close, I'd like to recite a rhyme I learned from some little girls I did not find "kissable" because they were too young for me, but not for someone their own age.
"Two little lovebirds sitting in a tree,
k-i-s-s-i-n-g!
First comes love,
then comes marriage,
then along comes (_________) with a baby carriage!"
At least 50 years ago, (and probably much longer), some child composed that to tease a friend caught kissing someone.
I love this kind of children's poems, their lightness, innocence and joy. The little girls that taught me that are probably grandmothers today and I hope they got kissed many times and stayed as merry and delightful as I remember them.
Some people may view this picture and think, "Ew! They're naked! Why do they have to be naked?"
But that is not part of my thinking. They are young and happy and doing something they enjoy. The world itself wraps around them in that moment, wanting to bath in their happiness and two angels in squirrel form stand watch to give their blessings.
If by chance you enjoy such things, here are more children's rhymes to accompany it:
"Litte Sally Walker,
sits in a saucer,
trying to get the old man to come back home.
Try Sally try,
put your hands on your hips,
let your backbone slip.
Shake it to the east,
shake it to the west,
shake it to the dear one that you love the best."
Or,
"Say, say old playmate,
won't you come out and play,
and bring your dollies three,
and have some fun with me.
Slide down my rain barrel,
and through my cellar door,
and we'll be jolly friends,
for ever more!"
As comedian, Jimmy Durante used to say, "I got a million of 'em, folks! A million of 'em!"
But I'll stop for now.

Edwin Loftus is an American painter and draftsman born in 1951. His interest in art began at the age of 4 when he decided to draw something real rather than working from his imagination.

As a child he excelled at drawing and as a teenager he began to experiment with oil painting. In college, he took courses in art and art history and realized that true art had nothing to do with the quality of the drawing or painting, but that it had to have the ambition to push the boundaries and expand the visual experience.

He also studied philosophy, psychology and history and quickly realized that it was just another art establishment trying to defend its elitist industry and reward system. Their skills were almost non-existent, they knew nothing about psychology, perception or stimulus response, and they were extensions of the belief system that made communism, fascism and other forms of totalitarianism such destructive forces in the world. They literally believe that art shouldn't be available to ordinary human beings, but only to an elite "sophisticated" enough to understand it.

Edwin Loftus realized that the emperors of art had no clothes, but they were still the emperors. Gifted in art, he worked hard to acquire this skill. So he found other ways to make a living and sold a few artworks from time to time. For sixty years, many people enjoyed his works and some collected them.

Today, Edwin Loftus is retired. Even if he sold all his paintings for the price he asked, "artist" would be the lowest paid job he ever had... but that's the way it is.  It won't matter to him after he dies. He just hopes that some people will like what he does enough to enjoy it in the future.
