Formerly a designer of furniture and decorative objects, curious and contemplative by nature, I have always been a great lover of any kind of art and admirer of "those who dare". It is because, or rather thanks to the first Covid confinement, that I decided to take back the brushes that I had abandoned for almost 20 years during my New York City period when I painted on the rooftop of my building. This came naturally, at first to make an original gift for some members of my family or friends, then quickly the canvases piled up in our apartment which quickly became cluttered by ongoing projects and those at drying. Some told me I had to find my style. The problem is that I love experimenting with new media, materials and techniques and my influences are numerous ...
I can start a project knowing exactly what I want to do and stick to it, or I can have a guiding idea and walk away from it or I can let inspiration and chance guide me.
Drawing, painting or creating are for me the best means of expression and sharing.
