Ma démarche artistique est intuitive et inconsciente. Ma curiosité est insatiable. Dessiner, peindre, transformer des matières me permet de vider le trop plein de ressentis, sentiments.
Mon processus de création est interne et il va vers l'extérieur. Je travaille souvent aveuglée et je trace le premier jet de ce qui deviendra une histoire. Les liens se forment et se transforment comme dans la vie. Je relie, allie, souligne, crée des aspérités. Les personnages viennent à moi, apparaissent. Ils sont en mouvement et montrent un univers fantasmagorique.
L'inspiration des surréalistes est semble t'il évidente. De nombreux artistes suscitent mon admiration et dans toutes les disciplines.
J'utilise la couleur avec force. Elle est une fondation dans mes créations. Je matérialise des couches successives et à l'opposé des transparences qui apportent du relief.
Il y a quelque chose d'organique, de physique et un besoin impérieux de toucher la matière.
Les fonds, les formes qui jaillissent sont sans doute des traces de mon amour pour le spectacle vivant. J'ai accompagné pendant 20 ans des musiciens, comédiens, danseurs, circassiens, marionnettistes...
