Bernard Rancillac, né le 29 août 1931 dans le 14e arrondissement de Paris et mort le 29 novembre 2021 à Malakoff est un artiste-peintre, artiste plasticien et sculpteur français, représentant majeur de la nouvelle figuration.
Dès le début des années soixante, il est considéré comme l’un des artistes fondateurs de la figuration narrative. En 1965, il co-organise l’exposition « Mythologies quotidiennes » au musée d’Art Moderne de la capitale française. Deux ans plus tard, en 1967, Bernard Rancillac réalise des affiches sérigraphiées à l’Atelier populaire des Beaux-Arts.
