Hepburn, who went to England to become an actress, was 22 when she starred in her first movie "Young Wives Tale" (1951). In this first film, Hepburn, who attracted the attention of everyone with her beauty and grace, went on a rapid rise.
After starring in films such as "Monte Carlo Baby", "Lavender Hill Mob" and "Secret People", Hepburn found great success with "Roman Holiday" in 1952. Her portrayal of a princess in "Roman Holiday" was Hepburn's first lead role and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her co-starring with Gregory Peck. This award made her a star all of a sudden and Hepburn took part in successful productions one after the other without losing her pace.
The beautiful star, who starred with the famous actor Humphrey Bogart in master director Billy Wilder's "Sabrina" in 1954, won an Oscar nomination for this movie. Later, Hepburn acted in movies like "War And Peace", "Funny Face", "Love in the Afternoon", "Green Mansions" and "The Unforgiven". Working with the most famous directors and actors of the period during this part of her career, Hepburn fascinated everyone she worked with. The beautiful star later achieved great success with films such as "My Fair Lady", "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Wait Until Dark."
