Artak Albertovich Zakaryan is a sculptor, artist, born in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia in 1967.
While studying in high school, he attended the art school-studio named after A.K. Kojoyan, an Armenian painter and graphic artist.

After that, he graduated from the Sculpture Department at the Terlemezyan Art College (world-famous, Armenian artist).

In the same year he entered at the Yerevan State Academy of Arts in the Department of Sculpture.

In recent years, in addition to sculpture, he has been engaged in watercolor painting.

He had solo exhibitions and also participated in group exhibitions.

The artist's works are in private collections in Armenia, Russia, Austria, Germany, and China.

Basically, the artist works using the technique of multi-layered watercolor in the style of impressionism and realism.
But he continues to experiment in different directions, because the main features of watercolor - transparency, lightness, tenderness and a variety of techniques make the possibilities of watercolor multifaceted.
Watercolors can be used to paint both simple small paintings and very complex large-scale compositions.
