My biggest shot so far (2023) Painting by Armand Brac

On leaving his graphic design training at Esag Penninghen in Paris, Armand Brac first devoted himself ardently to collage. The result is a formal exploration, a work of introspection, where his actions and thoughts tend to unite. He carves and mutilates his books into expressive and colorful fragments, which he incorporates into compositions that are often painted and drawn. From this artistic practice was born his visual vocabulary, mixed with scratched, fractured forms, landscapes of erasures and stains, bare marks and unfinished lines.
Today more oriented towards oil painting. Oil mixed with other techniques, the work of Armand Brac, full of poetic and imaginary incarnations, follows in the footsteps of abstract expressionism, of the Cobra movement and street art.
