Ana Maria Cortes is a contemporary Spanish painter. From an early age, her interest in art was sparked, leading her to explore and study the techniques employed by her favorite painters like Carlos Gorriarena, Kandinsky, Joan Miró, and others. However, it wasn't until 2010 that she had the opportunity to fully immerse herself in her passion for contemporary abstract art, a style that had always captivated her.
In her relatively brief artistic journey, she has already made her mark by showcasing several of her works in countries such as Greece, Ireland, and Spain. Employing a diverse range of mixed techniques, she seamlessly transitions between acrylic and oil mediums, utilizing different textures like canvas and wood. For her, art serves as a means of expressing the vibrant creative energy flowing through her imagination, where colors, lines, and shapes become vehicles for conveying her feelings and limitless ideas.
