War suddenly turns life upside down... War blocks consciousness... She removes bright colors from the imagination... First feelings: - despair, helplessness, confusion...
But there is a small child (granddaughter) nearby and you have to gather all your will into a fist to control your actions.
Help comes from strangers from another country, and I accept it with gratitude.
Being at a distance, I cannot be aloof from the terrible events in Ukraine. My phone is set to alert notifications. Their painful cries always break the conventional peace of life, and I cover myself with a cold sweat, because somewhere there, abroad, are my relatives who, like the whole country, have become a target.
I find salvation in work. Unfortunately, it does not heal. Only for a while does the unbearable pain stop.
Drawing... Drawing... Drawing...
I plunge into the world of images that are born, probably in the subconscious, and I understand that there is also a continuous grief.
I watch everything that comes out from under the spatula...
I look... I look... I master...
It seems as if some force is guiding my hand.
At the same time, the idea that is born in the brain immediately catches up: - Did I create this?... Really?...
...Definitely...
I also recognize myself as completely different...
It seems that the views, thoughts, inner core are the same, but from the middle of my being, a friend of Allah is looking at me...
More vulnerable...
And all the nerve endings in it are sharpened to a peak state...
...Just... touch...
But it's not a weakness, believe me. It is a pain that constantly reminds of itself.
My destiny belongs to paints and canvas. Only with their help can I conduct my monologue about the country that they are trying to kill.
That is why I invest in the movements of my hand the desire to heal wounded souls and maintain confidence in Victory.
And she is ahead!
She is already waiting for us!!!
