It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to one of the most talented and dynamic artists of our time, Alina Poloboc. Born in Bender, Transnistria, an independent country within Moldova in 1991, Alina has since become a true citizen of the world, dividing her time between Miami, Florida, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

After earning a degree in International Relations and Political Science, Alina worked as a television presenter for three stations in Moldova. However, it was during a two-year stint in Bolzano, Italy that she discovered her true passion for painting. On a holiday in Palma de Mallorca, she was captivated by the island's special light, and it was there that she began to paint, attending painting courses for two years. Since then, her intense passion for painting has become her professional career as an artist.

Alina's work is truly extraordinary, with two distinct styles that are both breathtaking in their own unique ways. Her figurative paintings depict real-life ballerinas, painted with elegance, delicacy, and sensitivity that flow like a live ballet performance on canvas. Meanwhile, her abstract paintings in a contemporary style dominate the color blue with ink and natural pigments, reflecting her obsession with this color. Blue is the color that reflects the sky and sea of Mallorca.

Alina has exhibited her work in a wide range of exhibitions, both individually and as part of a collective, with every new exhibition only adding to her already impressive legacy. In 2017, she exhibited her work in two exhibitions, a collective exhibition at "El Mercado de arte y artesanía" and an individual exhibition entitled "Cést la vie" at the El Chiringuito Beach House in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In 2018, she exhibited her work in several exhibitions, including the "Immigration and integration conference: Woman, Art and Culture" at Centro Cultural S ́ Escorxador and the "L'univers és el cor" exhibition at Fundación Sa Nostra Caixa de Balears.

In addition, Alina's work has also been showcased at live painting events, such as the fashion event at Katagi Blau, Hotel Llaut Palace in 2018. She also exhibited her work in two individual exhibitions in 2018, one entitled  ¨LOVE LIVES IN EVERYTHING" at Espai Joves de Llevant, and the other at Hotel Es Princep in Palma de Mallorca.

Her latest exhibitions have been in 2020, with an exhibition at the HMH Art Gallery in Puerto Andratx, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and most recently, the highly prestigious Art Basel Miami in December 2022. Her work was on display in the "Another Me- Fancy Collection" exhibition, showcasing the breadth of her skill and talent.
