Giuseppe Taibi is a contemporary Italian painter. He approaches (sometimes with irony) bio-ethical themes of universal importance, such as the freedom of peoples, racial conflicts and the rights of minorities, the mystery of existence, the Church and religions in the world, communication, globalization, politics, justice, work, wealth and poverty, beauty, dreams, and so on, without any cultural or formal preconceptions. He is also fascinated by the contradictions of the contemporary world and by the conflict between reality and the inexplicable. Hence, these themes are almost always portrayed explicitly on canvas, paper, or other materials, reflecting an ethical-social as well as a political interest.
