existence as a subtle veil, often leading us astray in the labyrinth of perception. They have
sought to uncover the secrets of illusion, to understand its role in our lives, and to reveal the truths
depths that it hides.
Illusion shows us worlds that are only reflections, distant echoes of the truth. She is
an invitation to dig deeper, to see beyond appearances, to contemplate the essence that
hides behind the mask.
The illusion resides in our own minds, in our perceptions and beliefs. We are the
artisans of our illusions, creating stories and myths that distort reality. We have to be
vigilant, encourage us to question our thoughts, our emotions and our prejudices.
Illusion is not an enemy to be defeated, but rather is like a mirror in which we can
contemplate us. It reveals to us our desires, our fears, our hopes, and our expectations. She reveals the
fragility of human perception, how our senses can be fooled, and how reality
can bend to our will.
The illusion is not simply a deception, but a back door to understanding. She
forces us to explore, to question our certainties, to transcend the limits of perception
conventional. It inspires us to awaken to a deeper reality, to see beyond the surface
things, to discover the truth that hides behind the curtain of illusions.
Illusion is an inextricable part of our human journey. It accompanies us, challenges us,
amazes, and confronts us with our own nature. It is the fabric of experience, the mirror in
which we reflect ourselves, and the key that opens the doors to expanded perception.
It guides us towards the exploration of ourselves, our relationship to the world, and the eternal quest
of the truth that transcends fleeting appearances.

Sylvie Bourely is a contemporary French sculptor. The female body has always inspired her, and studies in the field of fashion have sharpened her sense of observation, proportions and rigor. In her latest series of sculptures she is entirely dedicated to the production of female nudes mainly made of sandstone with white extrafine chamotte.
For the artist working the clay is like awakening the creative energy, embodied by the soul of the feminine. When she touches the clay, at that moment she enters into connection with it: it then allows her to release from its flesh the feminine content contained. The sculpture, once completed, comes to life, exuding the emotion that everyone sees it can feel according to their own experience.
Sylvie Bourely was born in 1960, in France.
