Vincent Pompetti, born in 1976, lives and works in France. A graduate of the Institut National des Beaux-Arts Saint-Luc de Liège, he quickly made his mark on the world of comics with his first work, "Planète Divine", published in two volumes by Glénat in 2002 and 2003. This foray into science fiction, in an imaginary universe created by him, laid the foundations of his artistic style.

Influenced by great names such as Rembrandt, Edward Hopper, Moebius, Pre-Raphaelitism, Hugo Pratt and George Grosz, Pompetti refined his art over the years, developing an increasingly realistic and dynamic style. His collaboration with screenwriter Tarek gave rise to works such as "Rasputin" and "Brown Eye, Blue Eye", further expanding his scope of expression.

Since moving to Brittany in 2007, Pompetti has also devoted himself to oil painting on canvas. His works have been exhibited in various cities in France, Belgium and Canada, receiving prestigious awards such as that of the city of Creil in 2009 and that of the city of Ajaccio in 2010 for his series "Sir Arthur Benton". His regular exhibitions in art galleries and his participation in comic book fairs have consolidated his reputation as a versatile and talented artist.

In 2012, he undertook a diptych adaptation of "The Gallic Wars" by Julius Caesar, confirming his ability to explore new artistic horizons while remaining faithful to his literary roots. Always in search of innovation, Pompetti continues to surprise his audience with daring projects, such as "Les Anciens Astronautes", published by Tartamudo.

Recognized as an established artist, his works appear in international private collections, and he is regularly requested for custom commissions. Vincent Pompetti thus embodies artistic excellence and creative audacity, promising a future rich in discoveries and remarkable achievements.
