C’est un objet auto similaire, assez irrégulier, qui peut être classé dans la catégorie Art Fractal.
En effet, par une homothétie de rapport 14, on passe d’une balle de golf à l’objet sphérique dans son intégralité.
La position des balles est cependant légèrement stochastique, car la sphère possède une surface non développable, cela peut s’apparenter à un phénomène de dislocation des atomes dans le métal, comme lorsque l’on plie une barre de fer.
La lumière qui émane de l’œuvre, autorise un effet de transition continue entre les couleurs primaires.
