Bogdan Nitescu, a contemporary Romanian artist, was born into an artistic legacy in Bucharest, surrounded by the creative influences of his family. Hailing from a lineage of artists, with his father being the renowned painter Constantin Nitescu, and both his brother and sister establishing themselves as professional painters, Bogdan found himself immersed in a world of art from a young age.
His preferred medium is oil colors on canvas, and he is recognized for his realistic style. Having a particular affinity for chiaroscuro, Bogdan passionately incorporates this technique into his works, creating intense contrasts that add depth and drama to his paintings.
Bogdan Nitescu's academic journey is marked by a dedication to honing his artistic skills. He graduated from The National College of Arts Nicolae Tonitza in Bucharest, Romania, before furthering his education at The National University of Fine Arts Nicolae Grigorescu, where he specialized in painting. My name is Bogdan Nitescu and I am a professional painter from Romania.I was born in Bucharest,in a family of artists.My father is the painter Constantin Nitescu,a well known artist from Romania,and my brother and my sister are also,professional painters.Usually,I paint in oil colours on canvas and my style is a realistic one.I am a passionate of chiarroscuro,and i use this intense contrast very often in my paintings. I have graduated The National College of Arts Nicolae Tonitza,from Bucharest,Romania and after this,I have graduated The National University of Fine Arts Nicolae Grigorescu,from Bucharest,Romania,specialised in painting.
I take my Masters in Visual Arts at The National University of Fine Arts from Bucharest,Romania.
