In the language of flowers Peonies also stand for prosperity, good luck, and happy marriages!
But with their delicate pink colors slowly fading into orange, yellow and white as the days pass, I just think peonies are such fantastic flowers. I always look up to the time in spring when we finally can find them in the market again, even if for only a few weeks. I watch amazed every time as the small compact balls open into spectacular flowers.
