My name is Michel Moreau, I am 74 years old.

I am originally from Seine St Denis and I lived in the Paris region until my retirement.

I came to settle in Charente-Maritime around ten years ago.

I am self-taught.

Since childhood I have always loved drawing.

In 2011, I started painting to occupy my retirement.

I attended painting workshops to learn several techniques.

I first turned to acrylic and then very quickly became passionate about pastel for the texture and immediate rendering .

I am particularly attracted by portraits for the eye and the animal world

I use dry pastel chalks from the Rembrandt, Girault, Sennelier brands, Caran pencils d'ache, conté, stabilo on Clairefontaine map paper
