Born in Marseille in 1956 to a diplomatic family Majd Patou Fathallah is a British/Lebanese autodidact sculptor.
Her early years, where on the move, enriching her view and search. Majd comes from an advertising, radio and television background. After a career in radio, television and film production she became interested in philosophy, far eastern thought and music which somehow naturally led her to pursue her heart's passion: sculpture. Having witnessed the civil war in the Lebanon and becoming aware of life's fragility profoundly affected her work. She works between Tuscany and the UK.
Spending most of her time in Northern Tuscany where she collaborates with various founderies for her bronze sculptures. Exhibiting in Italy, London and Lebanon. Some of her sculptures can be found in Museo di Bosetti in Pietrasanta, Italy. MACAM, Museum of modern art in Lebanon
