Loïc Kernen est passionné de voitures et de photographie. Il a naturellement poursuivi une carrière de photographe automobile professionnel. Adolescent, il a commencé à courir après les voitures dans les rues, l'appareil photo numérique de ses parents à la main, puis s'est initié à la photographie en tant que hobby et a rapidement appris à perfectionner l'art de la prise de vue de voitures.

"Je pense que le repérage [ndlr : le fait de prendre des photos de voitures dans la nature] est l'une des meilleures écoles de photographie automobile. Vous êtes juste là, en tant que spectateur, et vous devez faire de votre mieux avec ce qui vous est présenté. Vous n'avez aucun contrôle sur la lumière ou l'emplacement de la voiture. Une voiture passe ? Vous ajustez les réglages panoramiques aussi vite que possible sans être sûr que la voiture reviendra. La passion grandissant, j'ai commencé ma carrière de photographe automobile à l'âge de 25 ans et j'ai depuis travaillé pour de nombreux clients internationaux tels que RM Sotheby's ou Audi".
