This acrylic on canvas was created as a personal challenge, or a game of sorts. Upon moving to a new home, I endeavored to use up all of the old, leftover paint from my children's kits. This acrylic on canvas was created as a personal challenge, or a game of sorts. Upon moving to a new home, I endeavored to use up all of the old, leftover paint from my children's kits. Some of the paint was as much as 10 years old. I pulled out the little pots in random order. If the paint was usable, it had to go on the canvas. I also painted this using only plastic knifes, forks, and spoons.

Leslie began painting in 2015. She painted only sparsely, preferring to sew or knit. Leslie's painting accelerated in 2023 due to her chronic illness diagnosis and a move. Leslie enjoys that painting can be done regardless of her physical condition. It does not worsen symptoms of her Ehlers-danlos Syndrome. Leslie also enjoys homeschooling her four children and watching sci-fi with her husband.
