I am the coordinator of Hike to the Future, a project that uses hiking as a motivation for conservation, including outdoor gear drives for under-resourced communities, leading youth hikes, participating in trail conservation work, and fundraising for trail stewards. One aspect of the fundraising includes selling my photography and donating the proceeds to organizations that promote hiking and conservation of wilderness trails. I am a yearbook photographer and lead designer, and I have been studying and practicing the art of photography regularly, whether on hikes, sitting in nature, or in the midst of activity.
