John is an artist and art instructor at a mental health awareness center in Los Angeles, CA. John has also facilitated art groups for the homeless, people with terminal illness or addictions, and re-entry programs. He has a BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and an AAS fine art painting from FIT in New York City. His artworks have been in some exhibitions to raise awareness on global issues and for charities. His genres include symbolic painting and intuitive abstract painting. He is also influenced by nature and creating art is a spiritual experience for him. John's favorite late artists include Hilma af Klint, Matisse, Gustav Klimt, and Roberto Matta. His favorite living artist is Ross Bleckner. He hopes his artwork inspires others and brings them joy.
