Jeff Cornish is a contemporary award-winning American painter. His favorite themes are about the quality of light, mostly cinematic or noirish lighting, moody night scenes, and female figures.
For his works he got Honorable Mention, Michigan Annual XXXI, in 2003; Grant, Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, in 2001; Best of Show, Michigan Annual XXI, 1998; People’s Choice Award, Look ‘88; Award for Excellence, Michigan Fine Arts Competition, 1983; Best in Show, Annual Eastern Michigan Exhibition, 1983.
Jeff Cornish was born in 1955, in St. Clair, Michigan, USA, where he graduated from the Central Michigan University of Fine Arts.
