Juggler (2021) Sculpture by Hector Acevedo

Héctor Acevedo is a contemporary artist, his work is innovative because it has a very personal symbology extracted from his life experience, in it he gives special emphasis to the looks of the characters absent of mouths, an absence that is covered with the leaf or another element. Another peculiar characteristic in his work is the luminosity of the colors and stylization. He received numerous awards for his works, including: * Painting Medal 2024 Antonio Muñoz Degrain “Solo Arte” Organized by the AEPE (Association of Sculptors and Painters of Spain). * 1st Prize at the XIV Florence Biennale 2023 in Italy. * 1st Prize at the V International Biennial of Argentina 2022 in Buenos Aires * 4th Prize at the XIII Florence Biennial 2021 in Italy; among other awards and honorable mentions in national and international competitions. He exhibited his works in the USA, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany and other European countries.
