I am very attracted by the Italian Renaissance, this Sculpture very influenced by Michelangelo's Dying Slave. harmonious and sensual, in clay fired at 1100°, entirely handmade. 30 hours of work. Patinated with pigment and shellac then varnished to catch the light more.
For more than 17 years I have been sculpting in my workshop, I exhibit and I sell all over the world and in Parisian galleries.
I developed a passion for sculpting nudes only on posed models. It is at the same time a continual challenge. Grasping a pose is a very difficult exercise that can only be achieved after many years of practice. Preserving the soul and personality of my models is a challenge that I pose to myself at each session.
Does the price seem high to you? but it is insignificant considering the time spent to finish and refine a sculpture (approximately 30 hours), I am passionate and I like to share my passion with you!
