Beeldend kunstenaar Harold Aspers woonde en werkte in steden als Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Maastricht en Eindhoven. Tegenwoordig werkt hij fulltime als kunstenaar vanuit zijn atelier.
Harold Aspers ArtZijn werken zijn opgebouwd uit verschillende betekenislagen die tijdens de opbouw van een doek vermengen, vervagen en soms zelfs vrijwel helemaal verdwijnen. Deze lagen bestaan uit kleuren, teksten, beelden, puntrasters, patronen, etc.
Harold Aspers werkt in thematische series en zijn werk wordt getoond door verschillende galeries en op kunstbeurzen. Zijn werk maakt deel uit van verschillende internationale collecties. Natural Beauty is een regelmatig terugkerend thema in zijn werk.
Een leuke wetenswaardigheid is het feit dat Harold Aspers als architect mee heeft gedraaid in de top van Nederland. Met projecten over de hele wereld was zijn carriere eigenlijk helemaal geslaagd.
Toch neemt Aspers afscheid van de wereld van toparchitecten. Zoals hij mij wel eens vertelde paste hij niet in de snelle wereld waar geld meestal voorop staat.
Onlangs heeft hij zijn carriere als architect volledig aan de wilgen gehangen en is hij zich volledig gaan richten op zijn kunstenaarsschap. Wat enorm fijn dat hij deze keuze heeft gemaakt! Zijn werk blijft zich ontwikkelen en is zeer bijzonder en origineel te noemen.
In zijn laatste werken laat hij zien dat een combinatie van krakelee en epoxy leidt tot de meest geweldige schilderijen. Wij hebben de allerbeste werken voor u geselecteerd.
