Eva Czaplicki is a contemporary French sculptor. In the center of her art is the body in tension and she seeks the soul through the body. Mostly small in size, Czaplicki's sculptures are figurative, dreamy, poetic, and frightening, and they reflect the artist's own ambivalence.
She signs her works with her name and the Phaïstos disc with the ichtus symbol of the fish. This disc is "a drop of perfume", a baptism of sculpture.
In 2020, Eva Czaplicki received the Jury's Mention at the Grand Palais for her bronze sculpture “Origin” at the 230th edition of the Salon des Artistes Français.
