From a very young age, Benooaa traveled with his family to several countries, first in Iraq, then in Malaysia.

He went to school in France for the first time then that he is already 8 years old.

He will start his professional life as an engineer on construction sites in South East Asia.

At the age of 33, he resumed his studies by joining the Paris Malaquais School of Architecture located on the site of the Paris School of Fine Arts.

Graduated in architecture, “jack of all trades”, Benooaa develops a deep personal experience through his art.

Benooaa draws his inspiration from his travels and from the heritage of architecture and painting of the great artists of our history.

Benooaa's painting, whether abstract or figurative, is imbued with colors.

Shapes, colors, chiaroscuros intermingle and oppose each other creating spaces in tension, d& #039;others at rest.

The artist energizes the canvas by using a diversity of textures, and playing with the material, the thickness, the transparency, the fluidity of the paint.

His gesture can be smudged, the paint flows and drools, in contrast with brushstrokes which are sometimes crude and instinctive.

He can use charcoal, acrylic paint, oil paint #039;oil, Indian ink, brush, squeegee, cloth or even his own fingers at the service of his art.
