It represents taking a step of trust in obedience to what the Lord asks of us --:even if it seems scary, He will be there to carry us!
Although my formal education is in Anthropology (BA) and Psychology (MA), my immersion in art (and music and dance) reaches back to childhood!
My skills in drawing and painting have been developed over the decades by art books, observation & practice, online tutorials, and, most importantly, by the grace and help of my Lord and Savior, Jesus!
I made my first artwork sale as a young mom in California in the late 1990s; and in the ensuing time, I've continued to sell my paintings, at craft faires and online, and have received and completed numerous commissions for murals, illustrations, and canvases.
In 2011, our family moved from Virginia to England for three years. It was there that I chose the name "His Splendour Reflected" for my cottage artwork business!
A couple of moves later, and we ended up here in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I continue to hone my art skills and sell works, along with being a wife and mom, ACE-Certified Personal Trainer by vocation, dancer & singer for the joy of it, and a servant of Jesus because He is worthy!
