Angela Nicholson was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to the country when she was 2 years old.
From her childhood growing up in the central highlands of Victoria, Australia, where the trees grow straight and tall, to the wildness of the windswept coastline that she now lives on, her love of detail in materials has always been with her.

Angela is an multi disciplinary artist who trained as a designer, this discipline particularly informs her ceramic work which has a strong functional element.

Angela holds a BA from RMIT University in Interior Design.

Angela lives and works on Wadawurrung Country in southern Australia.

Angela's work is a reflection of her interest in her natural surroundings and her trainings in Architecture and design. Her works are contemporary and textural with a material focus.
