The approach to the world of sculpture is self-taught. Always attracted by various materials such as wood, stone, metals; in fact, only a few years ago I began my first wood carving experiments and from there I continued, with great satisfaction, the search for technique and perfection.
Following the attendance of a course in 2018 at the Academy of fine arts of Genoa on the nude/sculpture with professor Fabio Tasso, I extend the exploration of materials by trying clay which will later be of fundamental importance for the formation of models when I work with the indirect method. p>
In my abstract style works I try to give marble or other rigid materials a plastic effect, precisely to give a illusion of material duality. This creative process, also through the alternation between the refined and the rough that I like to leave, wants to break a preconception, insinuate in the observer a process of change in the vision of things, experiment with new ways of thinking, stop wanting to have control of everything and strengthen one's curiosity.
With works in figurative style I try to establish more impactful and direct emotions in the observer through the representation of reality.
