Jan Pruski

Jan Pruski (born in 1957 in Malbork, Poland) has lived and worked in Olsztyn for years. He is an unusually diverse artist who, using a number of most frequently his own techniques, creates images, graphics, sculptures, installations. His portfolio includes a lot of individual and collective exhibitions both domestically and in the international arena, and his works can be found in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad. His main achievements include individual exhibitions in 1995 in Berlin at the Gallery of the Polish Institute of Culture, and two in Paris (in 2004 as part of New Poland Season, and in 2015 at Galerie Sylvie la Page), as well as individual exhibitions in Warsaw ("It Was, It Is, It Will Be" ["Było, jest i będzie"] at Kuratorium in 2013, "Pruski" in the Fibak Gallery in 2014). The Artist's works have been presented several times at the BWA Gallery in Olsztyn.
