Après la gouache, les pastels dorés et argentés, les collages et les crayons de couleur , c'est en autodidacte qu'elle s'est essayée avec succés à la peinture à l'huile et même à la broderie .
Le résultat : une collection de pièces uniques créees au gré de son inspiration et de ses trouvailles .
Décors naïfs , coups-de- coeurs , céramiques, sculptures , abécédaires brodés...
Mais même si elle créee à partir de " bric à brac ", comme elle dit, Valérie Guiot est une artiste " cotée AKOUN " .
