Ich wurde 1957 in Herdecke/ Westfalen geboren.
Bereits in meiner Schulzeit beschäftigte ich mich mit der Malerei. Doch damals bevorzugte ich die graphische Malerei.
Seit 1997 übe ich intensiv die Aquarellmalerei und seit 2006 die Acrylmalerei aus.
Ich besuchte einige Fortbildungskurse in der Volkshochschule Dillingen und in der Malschule Schwalbach/Saar.
Seit einigen Jahren bin ich Autodidakt. Ich habe seitdem mehrere Einzelausstellungen durchgeführt und an Kunstausstellungen/Symposien in Deutschland sowie in Frankreich teilgenommen.
Meine Motive finde ich überwiegend in den mediterranen Landschaften z.B. in Spanien, Südfrankreich und Italien.
Meine Bilder befinden sich in privaten und öffentlichen Besitz u.a. in Belgien, Mailand, Paris, Hamburg, Kassel, Saarbrücken und Kingston (Tasmanien/ Australien), F- Chateau des Réaux, Chouzé sur Loire
