Ole Masur is een professioneel kunstenaar, gedreven in het (figuratief-)abstract vastleggen van de natuur, de mens en wat de mens bezielt.
Masur vangt de werkelijkheid op een organische intuïtieve werkwijze. Kleurrijk of juist minimalistisch in zwart-wit. Veelal werkend met acryl en/of mixed media. Soms ook met gebruik van taal die 'veel zegt'. Altijd vanuit een beschouwende soms kritische levensvisie, niet zonder verbazing of humor.
Symboliek en vrij gebruik van materialen en techniek staan centraal. Dit geeft het werk een diepere en eigen laag. Zo is er een serie werken waarbij het canvas 'te klein' is voor de lijst uit een behoefte om te breken met vaste normen. Of loopt het werk door op de lijst.
Masur is geschoold in Creatieve vormgeving en opgeleid aan de Academie voor Expressie. Masur's werken bevinden zich in internationaal particulier bezit.
Masur is van Franse afkomst en heeft zich met een eigen atelier gevestigd in het kunststadje Diepenheim. U bent van harte welkom om te komen kijken naar het werk waar u in geïnteresseerd bent. Het is immers verstandig kunst in het echt te zien alvorens u besluit tot aankoop. Dit kan in de Galerie Dijkhuis in het kunststadje Diepenheim, Twente. Graag aanmelden voor een vrijdag of zaterdag.
