L'approccio al mondo della scultura è autodidatta. Da sempre attratto dai vari materiali come il legno, la pietra, i metalli; infatti solo alcuni anni fa comincio i primi esperimenti di intaglio sul legno e da li continuo, con grande soddisfazione, la ricerca di tecnica e perfezione.
Conseguentemente alla frequenza di un corso nel 2018 all'Accademia di belle arti di Genova sul nudo/scultura con il professore Fabio Tasso, estendo l'esplorazione dei materiali provando l'argilla che in seguito mi sarà di fondamentale importanza per la formazione dei modelli quando lavoro con il metodo indiretto.
Nei miei lavori in stile astratto cerco di imprimere al marmo o altro materiale rigido un effetto plastico, proprio per dare un' illusione della dualità materica. Questo procedimento creativo, attraverso anche all'alternanza tra il rifinito e il grezzo che mi piace lasciare, vuole rompere un preconcetto, insinuare nell'osservatore un processo di cambiamento nella visione delle cose, sperimentare nuovi modi di pensare, smettere di voler avere il controllo di tutto e potenziare la propria curiosità.
Con i lavori in stile figurativo tento di instaurare nell'osservatore emozioni più impattanti e dirette attraverso la rappresentazione del reale.
