Solveig Sauvage est née en 1997 à Brest. Elle est une artiste et illustratrice basée à Strasbourg.
Elle travaille principalement la gouache, sur différents supports. Ses peintures ont déjà pu être exposées en France et au Japon. Aujourd’hui, elle oeuvre sur divers projets afin de partager ses créations au plus grand nombre.
Solveig explore les liens entre la nature et l’homme, et parfois les déséquilibres qui peuvent se manifester dans cette relation. Elle souhaite représenter la nature comme un acteur vivant, et célébrer toute forme de vie indispensable au monde.
Influencée par ses voyages au Japon et la découverte des sanctuaires shintoïstes, ses créations s’inspirent des valeurs de cette spiritualité. Chaque scène de vie, paysage, évoque la mémoire de sentiments qui nous sont communs. Fascinée par l’animation et les histoires qui se créent en ville, elle peint aussi l’urbain.
