Laurent Valera perçoit l’eau comme l’élément structurant de la vie dans sa forme comme dans ses aspirations, portant et traversant le vivant depuis plus de trois milliards d’années. C’est en s’appuyant sur elle qu’il construit une profusion de propositions qui lui permettent de s’interroger sur la vie et le vivant afin de questionner les fonctionnements de nos sociétés contemporaines.
