Michael Meise ist ein deutscher Künstler und Designer, der autodidaktisch tätig ist und seinen Lebens- und Arbeitsmittelpunkt in Berlin hat. In seiner heimlichen Heimat London findet er seine Inspiration. In den 2010er Jahren startete er seine künstlerische Arbeit parallel zu seiner damaligen Tätigkeit als Art Director für ein großes Modehaus. Seine Werke vereinen Malerei, Fotografie und digitale Kunst. Er liebt es, mit Illustration, digitaler Kunst und manipulierter digitaler Fotografie zu experimentieren. Zur Erschaffung seiner Werke bedient er sich neben Acrylfarben und Fotografie, Software wie Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop und Procreate. In seinen Werken kommen leuchtende Farben zum Einsatz, die oft mit Schwarz oder monochromen Akzenten kombiniert werden. Dadurch entstehen starke Kontraste zwischen gegensätzlichen Details, die eine neue Einheit formen. Die energiegeladene Ausstrahlung seiner Werke lässt den Betrachter niemals unberührt und übt eine anziehende Wirkung aus. Michael Meise lässt sich von den großen abstrakten und surrealistischen Bewegungen des 20. Jahrhunderts inspirieren und strebt danach, neue künstlerische Impulse zu diesem Thema zu setzen.
Neben seinen eigenen Werken erstellt Michael Meise auch im Auftrag digitale Arbeiten, Fotografien und Illustrationen.
