EDUCATION:
Giagkouli Stella comes from the village of Moustheni in the prefecture of Kavala.
She has been painting since childhood, but she took her first painting lessons at the age of 40 at the Constantinos Paleologos club where she stayed for three years.
She then participated in a pan-Hellenic painting competition of the BORGIAS COLLEGE OF FINE ART & DESIGN school of fine arts and won second place.
She studied at the school of Ioannis Borgias in the fine art department for about a year and a half and was taught Art History, Art philosophy, Johannes Itten's color theory, color exercises, free drawing, portraiture, figure study and nude modeling.
At the same time, she did a nude model study at S.K.E.T.B.E. for a year and a little later at the free study centers of Chelidoni learning dry pastels.
In February 2020, she participated in the annual seminar of K.E.DI.VI.M. of the University of the Aegean on Art therapy
She is a member of the PAINTERS' ASSOCIATION OF THESSALONIKI AND NORTHERN GREECE since 2016.
In December 2021, she participated in a pan-Hellenic art competition of the Foundation of the Hellenic World
"Discovering the History of the Greek Revolution that lives near me", where he distinguished himself.
She participated in the online action of MOMous "Resilience Project - Together Resilient" for covid19 entitled SO FAR SO CLOSE as well as in group exhibitions. Among them is the participation in the Karapantsio cultural center of Ampelokipi, the conference center of the Piraeus bank, the Foundation of the Hellenic World, the Goventaros gallery, the Tsichritzi Arts Foundation
etc.
The artist believes in the Art of authentic creation. She paints on canvas original images of her imagination, taken from surreal worlds that inhabit in her. These images contain her love, romance, sadness, fears and what she receives from her surroundings.
In every realization of a project, she brings out into the visible world a part of her world a piece of her soul.
She lives and works in Thessaloniki.
