Maria Brillante, autodidatta, nasce a Nocera Inferiore il 7 marzo del 1980. Segue studi di carattere pedagogico che la portano a lavorare prima come educatrice professionale e poi come insegnante. Da sempre disegnare è per lei il modo più congeniale per esprimere la sua interiorità e staccarsi per un po’ dalla realtà. Gli impegni familiari e lavorativi però la distolgono lentamente e totalmente dalla sua passione per lunghi anni.
Durante il primo lockdown del 2020, decide di provare a riprendere contatto con questa parte di sè ormai assopita e lo fa cimentandosi per la prima volta nella pittura. Inizia così il suo percorso artistico.
Predilige la tecnica della pittura con colori acrilici ma realizza anche lavori a grafite e a pastello. Le piace realizzare anche decori artistici su legno e tessuto.
Le sue opere sono selezionate per l’esposizione in mostre nazionali e internazionali e partecipa a vari concorsi artistici ricevendo diversi riconoscimenti. collabora attualmente con due gallerie.
