1951 in Jüterbog geboren durfte ich im Alter von 4 Jahren erste Erfahrungen mit Ölfarbe bei einem Künstler namens Bilkenroth erleben. An seinen Malereien durfte ich mitwirken und aus kleinen Ölfarbenklecksen entstanden rosa-weiße Wildrosen. Die Liebe zur Malerei umgab mich von diesem Augenblick an hat mich überall hin begleitet. In den Zeichenzirkeln bis zum Abitur erhielt ich Anleitungen sowei durch meine Mutter und Brüder. Nach dem Abitur studierte ich Musik mit dem Hauptfach Gitarre,hatte zunächst Berufsverbot aus politisch-kirchlichen Gründen,durfte später freiberuflich unterrichten,arbeitete in der Musikschule "Fanny Hensel",gab Konzerte im kammermusikalischen Rahmen,konnte in Berlin an der Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Studenten in einem Nebenfach unterrichten und musste aus gesundheitlichen Gründen vorzeitig berentet werden. Nun habe ich Zeit für das Malen,Schreiben und Komponieren.Während des Musikstudiums hatte ich keine Zeit für die Malerei und auch in der DDR keine finanziellen Mittel für píttoreske Ideen. Erst nach der Wiedervereinigung entwickelte ich mich autodidaktisch weiter und konnte in meiner Freizeit endlich malen.
