Gegenständliche Bilder malt sie entweder wirklichkeitsnah, mit abstraktem Hintergrund oder ins Abstrakte übergehend. Abstrakte Bilder malt sie auch mit Acrylfarben.
Bosa Steinerts Motivpalette ist vielfältig, aber nicht beliebig. Sie umfasst Tiere, Landschaften, Personen, Gegenstände, Pflanzen und Abstraktes.
Bei ihrer Arbeit lässt sich Bosa Steinert oft durch persönliche Erlebnisse inspirieren. Die Bilder entstehen dann meist aus dem Kopf heraus ohne Vorlage. Bei Gesichtern sind die Augen immer auf den Betrachter gerichtet, egal von welcher Seite das Bild betrachtet wird.
