My name is Krystsina Misura(eng.Christina Misuro), I’m a self-taught artist from Belarus. Currently living in Poland.My adventure with art started from photography, I’ve finished 2 year educational course in Academy of Photography in Bialystok, Poland. Then I was experimenting with acrylics and started to create my first paintings. The process of creating thrilled me a lot and I decided to devote myself to painting. I was experimenting with different media such as oil, watercolor,pastels. Now I’m working with mixed media, I combine photography, oil paints and digital art. I took a pseudonym Gareza it is belarusian word which translates like mischievous child. Through My art I try to make a dialogue with myself, to discover and heal what I have been ashamed and afraid of for a long time. I touch on the topics of mental health, female sexuality,female empowerment and self-confidence. Usually I find inspiration in psychology, religious art and fashion.
I had a pleasure to take part in local exhibitions in Belarus as well as international salons such as 32ème Salon d'Arts Plastiques de La Rochelle in 2018, where I was noted by jury of Arts Maritime by bronze medal.In 2019 I was invited to be part of 33ème Salon d'Arts Plastiques de La Rochelle and I also received a medal for one of my paintings.
