Nach dem Studium der Musikwissenschaft, Musikgeschichte, Philosophie, Soziologie und Politologie an der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg zog ich aufs Land, um dort als freischaffender Schriftsteller, Komponist, Musiker, Maler und Veranstalter (Betreiber der Kneipenbühne "O'wei" Oberweiling) zu wirken. Im alten Schulhaus, aus dem ich im Lauf der Jahre zusammen mit meiner Frau ein Gesamtkunstwerk geschaffen habe, befindet sich eine Dauerausstellung mit meinen Bildern. Nahezu an jedem Wochenende werden der Öffentlichkeit Konzerte geboten und somit dem Publikum meine Arbeit nahegebracht.
An der Malerei haben mich stets surrealistische Elemente interessiert, da sie auf vorzügliche Weise die Phantasie des Betrachters anregen können. Neuerdings bediene ich mich gerne einer künstlichen Intelligenz, deren visuelle Vorschläge ich mir zu Nutzen mache, um sie in meinem Sinne umzusetzen, zu bearbeiten, zu ästhetisieren.
