关于作者
I started PAINTING in the late 60s, studied on an INDEPENDENT BASIS, for about 10 years. I decided I would like to study further in an ACADEMIC basis and iwon a place in DUNDEE ART COLLEGE,77 to 81 and later 81 to 84 ROYAL ACADEMY SCHOOLS LONDON. Since the early 80s i explored and developed various THEMES and IDEAS based on our FEARS, HOPES and DESIRES in LIFE. Iv used many SYMBOLS and METAPHORS to enhance this and to create MYSTERY, DRAMA and AMBIGUITY.
Over my working YEARS Iv accumulated a large LIBRARY of IDEAS and IMAGERY which IM still using and introducing in varied visual developing way, which I find excites me as a PRACTICING PAINTER. RECENT conflicts in SYRIA, the UKRAINE, COVID and GLOBAL WARMING have also given me further visual challenges.
